I have a few questions about totally different subjects.

FH and I are getting married in our local Episcopal church. I feel the need to have music that is appropriate for that setting. I hate the idea of my processional using the traditional entrance songs, but FH and I have very traditional families. I actually got the FH excited about something wedding-related! I casually mentioned that I'd be cool with using music from some of our favorite movies in the ceremony. He really lit up and said it would be great and would be a way to make the wedding more "us ( Read more... )

Is anyone NOT having music during the ceremony?

We're going the iPod route for the reception but I dont know if I want to deal with it in the Ice Museum.

So I have lots and lots to post about with my recent wedding, but I'd really like to get some things out before I start forgetting. It's divided into parts for easy reading.

( Things that were awesome - photobooth, pre-ceremony pictures, friday night time slot, receiving line, sweetheart table, anniversary dance, not throwing my bouquet, non-traditional music, dance lessons and non-floral centerpieces )

First piece of news: We have an actual DATE!!!

Which means we also have... A VENUE!!!!!
